As I sit at my desk in work I am forever thinking of my next adventure and this year, for me, is packed with them. As you all know, I have just gone to Bali which was AHHHH-MAZZIGNGNG! But here are just a few more wonderful places I will be visiting this year.
I have travelled around the World from South Africa to Australia to a road trip from San Fransisco to NYC but yet I have little-knowledge to things on my door step. A few years ago I decided that I want to see more of the UK. We take for granted the things right in front of us and somethings forget what a beautiful, fascinating country we live in. Which brings me to my next trip to Windermere. I have always wanted to go to the Lake District so this year I decided I was going to make time to visit.
Venice & Togliano
Every other year we go to Togliano as this is where my mums family live. I absolutely love it here, it is so different to the busy lifestyle I live in London. When we go, the World just slows down – you drink, you eat (A LOT) and you enjoy every moment of the day. This year I decided to take my boyfriend there as he has always wanted to go to Italy. First off we plan to go to Venice for a few days and then grab a train up to Udine to enjoy a true Italian getaway!
Now although I have been to Mexico twice before this one is extra special because….. IT’S MY SISTERS WEDDING!!! After a year and a half of being engaged they are going to have the perfect wedding in Tulum, Mexico surrounded by their closest friends and family. Despite nothing being able to compare to the excitement for the wedding day, I cannot wait to revisit the Mayan temples, party on boats and sit by the pool bar all day!
I love festivals and try to go to one every year but never have I been so excited for a festival as I am for Rock Werchter. Look at my previous blog for details on the festival. If the beginning line-up wasn’t already mind blowing they have continued to add some of my favourite bands. Me, my boyfriend, my sister & her will be then husband will be hiring a camper van and parking up in the festival of all festivals! Check out the festival are www.rockwerchter.be
