Travel: Bintang, Bestfriends & Bali
I have just touched back down in London after a short but sweet trip to Bali. It’s hard to know where to begin when you have so much to say so let’s start with the basics!
Now going to Bali for six days some may say is crazy and that it probably is but it was a must for me! My best friend is currently there at the beginning of her travels before she ventures out into the big wide World of South East Asia and eventually residing in Dubai. Last week I popped onto a plane and flew 16 hours to Bali in order to start her amazing adventure with her!
Our air b’n’b was exactly how it was shown in the images, idyllic! It was all outside apart from our bedrooms which had individual locks and glass doors overlooking our beautiful pool. When you first worked in you crossed a small path over a tiny pond filled with fish, this led into the outside living room, kitchen and pool.
Each day a maid came and cleaned the whole apartment which was really handy. We were walking distance to a local minimart and a quaint restaurant called the Sun shooter which had the friendliest staff, cheap prices (most places are in Bali) and delicious food.
I have to say that I was not ready to leave Bali after such a short time but oh was it worth it!! In some ways I think the short trip was a good thing, there was no time to sit around and waste the day away or sleep your hangover off, it was simply partying till 5am and getting up at 8am for the next days activities.
